How to cut your own bugle beads.Text Box: About the cutting process:
The beads you purchase in smaller sizes are cut by tools that I’ve built specially for cutting these beads into specific sizes.  Anything smaller than 1/4 inch needs to be cut by hand.

How to cut your own bugles:
Toaster oven”
Put some aluminum foil on the metal tray that comes with your toaster oven and lay the longer bugles that will be cut onto the tray.  Place the tray inside the oven.  Set the oven to about 150’.  Turn the oven on and allow beads to warm for about 3-5 mins.  Pull the beads out of the oven and move them directly to a piece of glass or a cutting board.  The beads should not be hot enough to burn you.  Cut the beads to desired lengths using a polymer clay cutting blade, exacto knife or razor blade while they are warm.
