The Artist's StoryText Box: Here I am on my way to Grandma’s house to deliver some...beads of course!  Grandma and I don’t eat carbs anymore so the beads seemed a bit healthier than cookies or pastries.  Anyway, here’s my story…   In 2007 I created the very first flexible bugle bead and knew if I could perfect this product I’d have something that all of you bead enthusiasts would just love.  After 15 years of beading you can imagine my surprise when I created something that just didn’t exist in the bead world.  All those years of trying and now something great finally came.  Throughout 2008 these beads were sold at bead shows throughout the country by MyELEMENTS by Yvonne with an encouraging  response.  I am grateful to Yvonne for being my very first customer and for believing in this innovative new product.  She has been a true miracle in my life.   In October of 2008 flexible bugles found their way into their very first retail store; Bead Soup in Savage, MD.  I am happy to say that they are doing well there and I hope to also begin teaching classes in 2009 to show everyone how to use these very fun little beads.   Many of the tools that I use to make the beads I’ve created myself.  Just recently a new tool I invented made it possible to offer some new shapes and sizes.  I hope you all will love the new extended line.  Please offer comments and suggestions at any time.  I love hearing your ideas and any input you might have about the beads.   I hope to continue to bring flexible bugle beads into the bead market and share with you as many new projects, kits and products as my hands are capable of creating.  Please enjoy the product and let it take you wherever your imagination wants to go.
